It's not the best in the series by any means. I think this movie might be slightly better than the book, if only to connect the dots "better"... I'm sure I'd like this better if I remembered Dante's Inferno more.
It was fun seeing Venice, even briefly! His books are like treasure hunts through history, art, and literature.
