Review of Inferno (2016) by Ed F — 29 Oct 2016

After seeing the movie, I don't understand why the reviews were as such. This is a great movie, better than the first two, and better than the book.

So, what do we look for in such movie? We want good action (checked), good acting (checked), great locations (double checked), good pacing (double checked), and story that makes sense (triple checked here, more on that below).

The movie does NOT follow the book 100% (it will become too long). But this one cleverly cuts out and alter parts of the book that I always thought weren't as important anyway (while reading). In fact, I thought the movie's version has the characters behaving more consistently than in the book (slightly). For reference, people don't change, and we expect people to behave consistently with their characters.

In short, just go and enjoy the movie - don't worry about the consistency with the book, and you'll enjoy it!
