Review of Inferno (2016) by M F — 15 Oct 2016
I hate films where the twist is bloody obvious within the first 10 minutes. This is the 2nd film in a row where there's been a twist that is signposted way too early on and both were based on books (Girl on the train).
If you've read the books, then that probably doesn't matter - but it is annoying when the story is new to you. Inferno is pretty disappointing, while also being a little boring in parts and has a really dumb ending which makes no sense at all.
Not even Tom Hanks can save this. I think this might be the last of the Langdon character films. 2 stars out if 5.
