Better than "The Departed," but the sappy music really ruined the mood and the pace of the movie. I felt like "Air Supply" or "Celine Dion" songs were coming on after every gun fight and after every death scene.
Scorsese's version was a little more consistent, but I would have to say "Infernal Affairs" kept me on the edge of my seat a little longer.
