Review of Infernal Affairs (2002) by Kayoko T — 18 Jul 2008
Fantasic film although I preferred the departed. The story hurtles along at breakneck speed and the characters play out there parts well. The mob boss is like a big cuddly teddy though, not a scratch on jack nicholson's take on the character, and I believe scorsese took what was great about this film and expanded on it, i.
E. more depth to the characters. The so called tense morse code scene was a bit of an anticlimax as it all happens so fast, hitchcock taughs us about 60 years ago how to build up suspense and it's not in 10 seconds flat.
