Review of Infernal Affairs (2002) by Mat E — 20 Jul 2008
Scene for scene a reproduction of The Departed. Except this one came first. So is it a pre-production? Also this one is about an hour shorter and Chinese. But most of the scenes were the same, even down to the funerals being done with kilts and bagpipes (though it takes place in Hong Kong {what?}).
Just as exciting as The Departed but when all is said and done, The Departed is better by about 35%.
