Review of Infernal Affairs (2002) by Chris K — 06 Aug 2008
The movie from which The Departed was based on tells the same story a VERY different way. One of the few cases where both the original and adaptation are very very strong in their own right. In other words, I would have no problem owning both this movie and the departed.
Definitely worth seeing, the ending works a little better than its american counterpart in my opinion, but that's the only thing I could really pin as better or worse in the two stories.
