Review of Infernal Affairs (2002) by Hunter D — 04 Jan 2009
Absolutely devastating. If you're one of the few people who haven't seen Scorsese's remake of this movie, THE DEPARTED, watch this movie instead. The Buddhist themes are interesting and the characters seem to be more well developed here in an hour and forty minutes than the remake managed to do in over two hours.
This movie is smarter on every level, and if you have seen THE DEPARTED, watch this one anyway. Besides, the outcome is different, and far more intelligent.
