Review of Infernal Affairs (2002) by Naoya K — 18 Jul 2009
Third time watching. Everytime this amazes me in a different way. I respect the directors and screen-writers' effort to philosophically deepen the Buddhist theme of this setting, besides completing it as a prime suspence drama which never let audiences go and guess what happens next.
Andy Lau character is one of the most controversial and contradictory one among all the films and questions us - how can we pay back and live on with the guilt of yours? Definitely a masterpiece.
