One of the greatest cop thrillers of all time. That line says it all, really...
And as for the eternal question, is Infernal Affairs better than The Departed, which it inspired, to me there is no comparison : Scorsese did a great job, but all the key elements (except the actors, great and unique in both versions) that made The Departed successful came from IA, from the pace to the multiple twists and the double-double crossings. IA also has very realistic characters, and has the audience really share some of their emotions throughout the movie. A masterpiece, seriously !
