Review of Infernal Affairs (2002) by Alan J — 24 Feb 2010
Smartly written story with few plot holes. Andy is his usual wooden self and Tony Leung is reliable as the sympathetic undercover cop. The romance angle with the psychiatrist was ludicrous, and having Eric Tsang as the baddie elevated the cheese factor of the movie a few levels unfortunately.
Tsang is like a honey glazed ham and just not credible is this role; comedy suits him much better. Depsite this, a decent watch in the suspense crime drama category, just not all its made out to be.
