I can't give this one more than four stars because I knew pretty much everything that was about to happen, having seen The Departed twice. I don't really like remakes but I think The Departed is an exception and not really for being much better but just for watching it first. I really hate spoilers and if I know what's going to happen, I can't enjoy a film. Mou gaan dou has a great story and it should get more credit, being the original, but, for the reason mentioned earlier, I can't rate it higher than this.

I just made a promise to myself that I will always watch the original first from now on.
