Review of Infernal Affairs (2002) by Amar K — 07 Oct 2011
It's a shame that I saw the original after seeing the make over 5 years ago. This one is far better, complex and yet apprehensible version which is delight and inflicting at the same time.
This was the creative, innovative and germinal edition to begin with. It had shown the emotional complexity rarely seen in the crime movies. How does it feel to live like a person, the characteristics of whom are indicated by considerable amount of years and you still know that you are exactly contrary to that?
In a nutshell, the central characters of this movie who try to realize their inner image of themselves might wish to confess to the priest after hours of examination of conscience: "I know I did wrong; But Father, what else was I gonna do?".
