Review of Infamous (2006) by Nickie L — 05 Jan 2008
Starring Sandra Bullock, Sigourney Weaver and Daniel Craig (and Gwyneth Paltrow briefly) as themselves. They're too famous to be anyone else. So it was confusing to watch Truman Capote interacting with them.
Who knew that Craig was a murderer with homosexual leanings. Not me. Toby Jones very good. Juliette Stevenson brilliant in the few moments she had. But too many faces and too much artistic license. Can't remember enough about Capote to compare the two films properly, beyond the fact that this one was kinder to the aforementioned.
And give me Catherine Keener over Sandra Bullock any day.
