Review of Infamous (2006) by Joshua G — 14 Jan 2008
The faux documentary conceit really undermines the rest of the movie. Those bits made me wince. They were not only contrived, but they felt a bit too much like those crappy "bonus!" interviews you get with the DVD. That stuff should be optional.
I liked the sections that were witty and character driven; there just weren't enough of them. Capote is a far superior film.
