Review of Infamous (2006) by Shawne ~ — 06 May 2007
Hard to imagine that any performance could equal or even top Philip Seymour Hoffman's take on Truman Capote. Yet Toby Stevens humanistic and realistic take on Capote is amazing, and possibly more emotional at some levels than portrayed in the 2005 film.
Surprisingly good perfomances from Daniel Craig as convict hunk Perry Smith, Lee Pace as the other dude, and Sandra Bullock, actually doing some serious acting in this one. Highly recommended, even for those who think they know the "In Cold Blood" story.
