Review of Indivisible (2018) by Mary L — 05 Nov 2018
For any military family hoping to gain something useful, it leaves a lot to be desired. The film perfect relationships of the one dimensional wives is remincent of Army Wives- the husbands deploy and their wives hold each other's hands.
Cute but not realistic, nor is the perfect way the handful of families are tied together on both sides of deployment: The microscopic slice of post deployment marriage counseling depicted doesn't accurately reflect what works to put families back together in ptsd relationships.
If you're looking for a good cry, it'll deliver that, but if you're hoping to see something to help cope with post-deployment issues this film falls totally flat. 100% not made to help people in this situation- it's all neat, perfect, and happy ending.
