I think that without the responsibilities of adulthood, scenarios like having crush on someone have a strong affect. This film definitely did a good job at replicating that, highlighting the awkwardnesses that surrounded social settings whenever you were around your crush.

It's not that long and grips the nervous heartbeat from the start.
