Review of Indignation (2016) by Kurtiss K — 03 Sep 2016
A solid lead turn by Logan Lerman as Marcus, including a triumphant scene with Dean Caldwell (Tracy Letts), can't save a picture full of interesting philosophies that it fails to fully explore. Even the most vapid of audience members can see the cliche ending coming; withdrawing anything the film had to say about love, culture, and the struggles of coming into adulthood.
Rent it for that 15 minute scene, and then move on.
