Review of Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom (1984) by Nelson M — 04 Jun 2012
An underrated Indiana Jones film, and a prequel, that risked a bit more than the others by showing some rather gruesome scenes mixed in with humor and even a little family friendliness. In addition, it produced some of the more memorable lines in the series and I think it's a bit a neglected movie.
Like the rest of the Indiana Jones movies, I tend to prefer this set of movies to some of the others, like "Lord of the Rings" due to the sheer pleasure of the main character as well as the goofy, serialesque nature of the films.
