Far and away the best Indiana Jones movie. It had villains who are actually villainous for reasons beyond simply being a Nazi, the adventure is madcap, it has a classic damsel in distress who is not nearly as annoying as people like to pretend and it has the sidekick.
Pulp fiction adventure at its finest. Oh, and 1984 was a most excellent year.
