Review of Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom (1984) by Jh K — 08 Sep 2012
It's a little bipolar, bouncing between oddball humor and child-abuse, but it manages to have some great moments. But these moments come from the actors desperately trying to work with an uneven, racist, sexist, and silly script.
Even if this is a more accurate reflection of vintage serials, Raiders won us over because it was an homage to them, instead of an imitation.
