Review of Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom (1984) by Steven J — 06 Aug 2013
A less than stellar sequel. Indiana Jones is still a good character, but the movie is nearly derailed by an extremely annoying side character, in the form of Willie. The mystery is still there, although the second act takes an extreme dark turn, that feels out of place.
Inconsistent tone and an extremely annoying character doesn't make this a terrible movie by any means, but it's far from what Raiders was.
