My Dad is probably still laughing at the monkey brains gag 31 years later but on repeat viewing this really isn't a patch on Raiders of the Lost Ark. The action scenes are great but there are some massive issues here.

We've got casual racism with Indians practicing voodoo and a caricature Chinese kid for your cringe quota. Worst of all though is the most annoying character to ever be on screen (well at least until Jar Jar Binks came along) of Willie.

You are suffering her performance remember purely because Spielberg was sleeping with her. She is unbelievably bad.
