Review of Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom (1984) by Jack S — 27 Aug 2015
A real vintage and classic 80s action and adventure movie. The Temple of Doom was a very good sequel to Raiders of the Lost Ark. With probably the most annoying actress in movie history, Kate Capshaw is my biggest problem with Temple of Doom.
I don't think Temple of Doom has the greatest story or mission to it as much as the first and third. But I would say it is definitely up there being one of the most entertaining as it is filled with many great action sequences and chilling dark scenes.
The movie has another good performance from Harrison Ford and many good action scenes. Short round and Chattar Law are actually why I like this movie so much. Chattar is one of the best villains in the franchise and has some very good and dark scenes.
Short rounds funny and has a lot of likable aspects in my opinion. Overall I really do enjoy Temple of Doom as its another fun adventurous movie.
