Review of Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom (1984) by Ale L — 19 Nov 2013
Just saw this at the cinema tonight as a special screening. This was the first time I had seen it on the big screen since I saw its original release. When I first saw it as a family event it was such a great experience.
The audience loved the action and the film remains the bet experience I have ever had watching a film in a packed auditorium. Tonight's viewing held that same appeal and whilst the film is darker than I remember (a few seconds of scenes seems to be cut from DVD releases) including a full heart ripping scene.
However it was a shame so few experienced it. There were NINE people watching the film, including myself. A great film - even better on the big screen and I enjoyed it more that the screening of Raiders from last week! High praise with these movies.
