After the childish Temple of Doom, Spielberg brings back the Nazis in this tale about the race toward the biblical Holy Grail. Who else could play the senior Dr. Jones but 007 himself, Sean Connery-who is at his finest in every scene.
Oh, and how about the tank chase? Or the rats. Or face to face with Hitler. Ah..Venice. Germany declares war on the Jones boys and we're along for the ride!
