Review of Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade (1989) by Kelvin K — 15 Sep 2012
A more fitting sequel to raiders than Temple last crusade makes magic when it casts Sean Connery as Jones father. Their repartee and chemistry might be the best of the series and the screenplay is supremely executed.
this is a more refined, reality based Indy adventure more on par with 007 films than an Indy adventure. regardless this film is great and it's fun to see the franchise taken in this direction. Ford still looks gorgeous in the lead as he goes on a quest to save his father and the wholly grail from evil Nazis including a double faced nazi agent who gets intimate with both Jones'.
The action culminates it what may possibly be the best finale of the series and an impressive visual feet at the time and even today. A further reminder of why this franchise is so enduring and winning.
