Review of Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade (1989) by Jon R — 05 Jan 2013
Third time is the charm, or perhaps in this case the "grail". This is the best of the franchise and the addition of Sean Connery as both comedic and dramatic tension rounds out the whole feel of the film.
All the Indiana Jones films are a certain amount campy and that slight comedic edge that Last Crusade has makes this installment honestly just make more sense. Harrison Ford has really figured his trademark character out by this time and his presentation seems effortless.
