Review of Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade (1989) by Stephen E — 27 Feb 2013
"Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade" isn't as narratively complex nor are its action sequences as jaw-dropping as "Raiders of the Lost Ark," but it's funny and cleverly-construed, and after the wretched "Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom" debacle, it's a welcome return to form for Spielberg.
The visuals are good and Michael Kahn's editing is as sharp as ever, and Harrison Ford is back to playing his old, lovable self again. Also, adding Sean Connery to the mix is never not a great idea.
