In my personal opinion, I feel that this is the best Indiana Jones film. This just had the right amount of everything that makes a Indiana Jones movie great. It had the right amount of action, heart, charm, and wit.
I also feel that this movie had an even better story than the previous two installments. Harrison Ford owns the role of the best archaeologist in cinema history and Sean Connery as Dr. Henry Jones adds the sense of humor and emotion that this film needed.
Another thing that made the movie spectacular was that we got to see more of Indiana's backstory. The chemistry between Harrison Ford and Sean Connery here is the heart of the film and it was very engrossing to see them on screen together.
John Williams composed such a fantastic and memorable score throughout all these films and it made all the great action sequences and other iconic moments awesome to watch. I loved the other two films, but with this one I felt it had an edge to it.
