Review of Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade (1989) by Todd B — 23 Jul 2012
I remember this being my favorite of the Indiana Jones franchise. I don't know how to describe it but there is something I see in here that I don't see in the rest of the franchise. It probably because this movie tooks its time to show us a bit about our protagonist, making him more interesting.
Plus adding Sean Connery as his Father, you got yourself very amusing interactions/chemistry between the two. The events they encounter makes the film more enjoyable to watch such as taking a quick detour to the heart of Nazi Germany in the middle of a rally.
It has all the classic traits the Indiana jones movies have but I feel this one did a much finer job showing off those action traits. Oh, and we get to see why Indy has Ophidiophobia.
