Review of Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade (1989) by Chris L — 27 Dec 2012
Spielberg slides back into slightly more familiar territory after the obscure Temple of Doom outing, adding back Nazi villains and a religious artifact as the McGuffin. But the addition of Indy's father enlarges the emotional arc considerably and adds an extra layer of humor you didn't know was possible.
Hard to deny the fun and appeal.
