Review of Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull (2008) by Shane M — 28 Jul 2013
Despite being full of humor, heart, action, and cool special effects, this sequel is the worst in the series because of lack of practical effects, and using Shia LaBeouf, who doesn't show lots of promise.
Using more of a focus on science fiction, it relies a lot on special effects than previous installmants, and shouldn't have been made becuase of the characters ages, and using a plot with a bonding between Indy and his son that was too similar to the Last Crusade, and even worse and laughable.
Still, pretty enjoyable, fun for younger audiences, and evidence that three was enough for the series.
