The cast is pretty much great but the film seems to exist to set up Shia LaBeouf as the future Indy and he's pleasant but a little too lightweight to warrant basing a series on. Blanchett and Winstone are terrific, Hurt is pleasantly daffy and it's nice to see Karen Allen looking so fit.
Her energy level helps but I don't get that this kid is the offspring of Allen and Ford. *shrugs* You won't hate yourself afterwards is the best I can give it.
