Review of Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull (2008) by Kade C — 02 Apr 2017
One word can sum up the fourth installment to the Indiana Jones series: disappointment. The beginning is so promising, and then it just gets worse and worse. First they pointlessly shove Marion Ravenwood into the movie.
Then you get an insanely over the top action sequence in the jungle with Shia LaBeouf swinging from vines with monkeys. Then you get the damn aliens. My favorite part of the movie was actually Shia's performance as Mutt, he actually brought some fun to the film.
This movie should have been focused on Indiana Jones passing on the action-adventure mantle down to his son, since he is getting "too old for this s*it." But no, instead we get aliens. Disappointment.
