Considering the ridiculous levels of hype surrounding this movie, Lucas and Spielberg came together in excellent fashion to deliver something new to the audience. Far more enjoyable than most would have you believe.
Is it as good as raiders? Not many films can say they are but it is filled with careful detail and made with great artistry. Sadly the overuse of CG visuals hasn't stood the test of time and distracts from the otherwise decent effort.
