Review of Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull (2008) by Alexander M — 22 Nov 2013
This film was not as great as the other films and here are the reasons. The story wasn't as great as the other films and I felt that including aliens in the film was really unnecessary and I really think now they're creating the Indie films just for money.
When I first watched it 4 years ago I thought it was really good, but fast forward 4 years in 2012 I watched it the other and I just didn't really enjoyed the film much as the previous three. The whole alien concept is just not for this film.
Harrison Ford as always performed a great Indiana Jones but despite that the whole film is just not good. There are some few fun moments in the film, but then there's also a really unrealistic moment in the film when Indie has to find a place to hide before a nuke blows up, he hides in a fridge and then the the nuke blows up and sends Indie in a refrigerator flying and slamming on the ground repeatedly and then Indie comes out of the fridge in one piece.
To me that should have been the end of the film you know as well as I do that no person can survive that but that's in the film. So to me this film should have been much more better than the way it is, and not only that but diehard fans of the series waited 20 years for this film and they were all disappointed.
