Review of Independence Day: Resurgence (2016) by Gregory W — 14 Nov 2016
In short, I don't quite see why people disliked this film, it's cinematography and computer graphics are some of the best I've seen and were slotted together to fit a generation of both film goers and computer game enthusiasts it reminded me a lot of 2012 and The Day After Tomorrow with a surprising amount of band for buck, the simple things like colour balance, art design and sound were properly addressed making the scale and impact of the film easy to watch.
The story was as I expected but the cast made up for the lack of cerebral stimulation I particularly enjoyed Dakota Fannings presence reminding me that time isn't standing still. My advice is to get of your high horse enjoy the film for it's entertainment value and take stock, Just imagine.
