Independence day: Resurgence is fun. Big, loud and fun. Ridiculous? Yes. Cheesy? Yes. Does it all make sense? No. Some characters fall flat, some of the story/dialogue choices are just poor and parts of the movie make absolutely no sense.
But at the end of the day, it is a big, dumb fun movie and no one can deny that.
