Independence Day is quite stupid, its a science fiction adventure that leaves me in laughter. The main heroes involved make it look quite easy. Have a Cigar and send a alcoholic up there too destroy the core of the Alien spaceship, sorted.
The visual effects are good, which will in a aliens vs earth combat, it might need to be, 90 percent were the graphics. Storytelling was the 10 percent (that's generous) with a half decent cast. But its madness, no originality and a failed attempt to en light people of Alien nature.
Independence Day is not serious.
