Is there a movie more American than Independence Day? This 90s action flick still holds up well today. Yes, there are some ridiculous moments in this film, but there are also some truly thrilling moments and moments of pure, unabashed patriotism.
It features a fun script, an entertaining ensemble cast and a variety of settings. Independence Day is what a summer action blockbuster should be.
