Review of Independence Day (1996) by Mitchell B — 23 Jul 2017
This alien invasion destruction thriller isn't always logically consistent and more than a bit silly but its a very entertaining thriller with very good special effects for the time. Its many different plot lines come together nicely in the end making this patriotic sci-fi action shlock at its best.
It leaves you with a good feeling enough when its over you forgive the nonsense it puts you through to get there.
