Review of Indecent Proposal (1993) by Emilie B — 16 May 2007
One couple that desperately needs money, so they head to Vegas. (like any other person) LOL. Finding a sappy billionaire on the way willing to pay 1 million dollars to sleep with someone else's wife.
Why would he do that? Oh yeah, of course, and then throw in the obvious saying "Money can't buy everything". It did in this case. Robert Redford was too cocky, making me believe that he knew that he had this in the bag.
The couple barely did think about it, maybe about 5 minutes, and then he lets her do it. Knowing that it's a complete mistake, and he wouldn't share his wife for the world. But, he sure didn't try to stop her until after the fact that she was gone.
Strange position to be in, very unlikely. Decent performances, I mean, that you really can feel the love that they had before going to Vegas. After that, the plot became predictable.
