Review of Incredibles 2 (2018) by Cindy P — 16 Jun 2018

The long-awaited sequel absolutely lives up to the hype. The Parr family returns in all of their heroic glory. There's no shortage of exceptionally well action sequences and unique super hero abilities on display.

We get more of an idea of what Jack-Jack can do with his abilities and that was entertaining and hilarious to see. The plot felt similar to the first one up until the movie took an unexpected turn in the 3rd act which was refreshing.

I did notice that this one didn't have as much of the deeper themes that the first one had, which didn't really bother me, but I know some might be disappointed. The only thing that might be a flaw, for me at least, is the 3rd act does seem a tad muddled and it feels a little longer than its 2 hour runtime.

This is a great follow up though and I recommend checking this one out.
