Confusingly overrated without much specificity from those who enjoyed it. Incredibles 2 retcons the original in its exposition and carries little substance within the story's complex. It's a quality film made with an incredibly pointless, flat and forgettable narrative.
This cannot be what qualifies what is good at the cinema. Yes, the animation is gorgeous. Yes your favourite heroes are back to kick some butt. But, characters are dead if there is no story. Incredibles 2 is catered for people who only like surface material to be hand-fisted to them like the Marvel-McDonalds effect.
