Review of Incredibles 2 (2018) by Farah R — 27 Oct 2018
It's been a long time since Hollywood had a fun, lighthearted superhero movie and it was worth the wait. Incredibles 2 is a delightful continuation of its predecessor and a brilliant animated feature that the entire family can enjoy.
It doesn't matter how old you are, this movie is bound to crack you up. The theatre was echoing with laughter and the entire audience was so engaged regardless of their age. It was fascinating to see how far technology as the animation was superb and extremely realistic in comparison to the first movie.
Pixar is truly at the top in its industry right now and are likely to snatch the Academy Award next year. I loved this film on a personal level because I was only 9 years old when I watched The Incredibles back in 2004, so watching the sequel 14 years later brought back memories and made me nostalgic for a simpler and happier time.
I'd like to see new and original ideas from Pixar but if their sequels are this good, I definitely won't mind more.
