Review of Incredibles 2 (2018) by Cameron A — 14 Nov 2018
What a wonderful, satisfying sequel! This film is jam-packed with great characters, a mature storyline about family, and an engaging plot. While the villain may feel slightly underwhelming, this doesn't degrade the quality of the film, as it takes its fair amount of risks in not trying as hard to be a kids film, and allowing for thrilling action sequences and darker moments to take place that feel welcomed.
The overall spectacle is well-directed, and the music delivers once again! This is a worthy sequel that will satisfy newcomers and long-time fans of the first film and Pixar in general.
