Review of Incredibles 2 (2018) by Jeremy B — 10 Jul 2018
This film definitely lived up to the amazing quality the original brought to the table 14 years ago in spades. The action was some of the greatest I've ever seen in an animated film, the mix of comedy and tension was just right, and the various messages that were attempted to be portrayed throughout the film were neither overwhelming nor shrug-worthy.
This film wasn't just a sequel, this film also served a purpose. It justified itself having been created, and that isn't something you see too often out of sequels. 5/5, definitely getting the blu-ray.
