Review of Incredibles 2 (2018) by Mark B — 07 Aug 2018
It's far inferior to it's predecessor. I went into this movie already skeptical and after watching it, all that Incredibles II did for me was confirm my fear that Pixar has now become a sad shadow of the powerhouse it once was.
It fails to match the mature tone that I loved so much about the first Incredibles movie. It's just a big, flashy, dumbed down version of Incredibles. So yeah, in that sense, it's great for your kids with low attention spans, but if you view this film expecting the same deep substance as the original, you're going to be as sadly disappointed as I was.
